Due to the current high demand on our services, we have reached capacity for new referrals for Physiotherapy and Podiatry under the NDIS. We will keep this page updated in the future as this changes.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

Please read our Frequently Asked Questions below as they contain important information regarding payment and information we require to conduct your appointments.

Please give our friendly reception team a call on 5571 9923 to book an initial appointment for physiotherapy, exercise physiology or podiatry.

The main information we require is your NDIS Plan number and Plan Dates.
If you are Plan or Agency Managed, we will require your Support Coordinator’s contact details, along with your Plan Manager for invoicing purposes. You may also supply us with a copy of your NDIS Plan if you would like to.

All appointment costs are set by the NDIS.

  • Initial Physiotherapy/Podiatry (60 minutes) – $193.99
  • Initial Exercise Physiology (60 minutes) – $166.99
  • Initial Occupational Therapy (90 minutes) – $290.99
  • Standard Physiotherapy/Podiatry (30 minutes) – $96.99
  • Standard Exercise Physiology (30 minutes) – $83.49
  • Standard Occupational Therapy –  (60 minutes) – $193.99 or $96.99 (30 minutes). The length of the appointment will be at the discretion of the treating practitioner.

For Plan Managed participants, Gen Health will send your invoice directly to your Plan Manager for payment.

​For Agency Managed participants, Gen Health will claim your invoices directly with the NDIA.

For Self Managed participants, we require payment in full on the day and we will supply you with a receipt so you can claim reimbursement from the NDIS directly.

All initial physiotherapy, podiatry appointments and exercise physiology appointments are 60 minutes.

All initial Occupational Therapy appointments are 90 minutes.

Follow up appointments will be either 30 minutes or 60 minutes, as determined by your treating practitioner.​

We require 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment.

As per the NDIS guidelines, a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the consult cost will be charged where a provider has short notice cancellation, or the patient is a ‘no show’.
