Symptoms

There are many symptoms to look out for, but it only takes one of these to be diagnosed with concussion.

Initial symptoms:
  • Loss of consciousness (however you can still suffer a concussion without this!)
  • Dizziness / blurry vision
  • Stumbling
  • Confusion
Later symptoms:
  • Headache
  • Pressure in head
  • Neck pain
  • Nausea/vomiting
  • Dizziness
  • Light / noise sensitivity
  • Balance problems
  • Feeling slowed down / ‘foggy’ in head / fatigue
  • Confusion
  • More emotional / irritable / sad / nervous / anxious
  • Difficulty falling asleep
