Clinical Placement Testimonial

Nicole Avery (3rd Year Student, CQU) 2022

Placements at Gen Health cater specifically to enhancing student learning which is what makes it such a fantastic and enjoyable opportunity. For 5 weeks I was fortunate enough to be immersed in all facets of a private allied health practice at Gen Health, where I was exposed to a variety of clinical experiences such as physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry and DMA clinical reformer pilates, which all helped to contribute significantly to my learning. The entire staff welcomed me as part of their team from the beginning, and were all so generous in sharing their time and knowledge with me. There is a strong focus on student development throughout the entire placement, with plenty of support from a great team of highly experienced allied health professionals. For any student who is seeking to experience what working in a private practice is like, and who wants to be immersed in a supportive environment that is focused on developing your knowledge and clinical skills, I highly recommend doing a placement with the Gen Health team!
