Anything and everything! I love the versatility of OT and the potential to work with people in all stages of life and with all kinds of experiences and needs. I have a particular interest in supporting women during life transitions and changes.

Mental Health First Aid Instructor
I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, and I was drawn to the varied nature of Occupational Therapy practice. I love that OT’s can work with people across the lifespan, and for so many different reasons.
I love being an Occupational Therapist, it is really special to be able to listen to people’s stories, understand what is important to them, and support them in finding ways to participate in the things that mean the most to them.
I am originally from Hamilton and had met Jess Fishburn when I was an OT student completing a placement. I had followed her work and the development of Gen Health over many years, and I have always said that one day I would love to work here.
Gen Health is so vibrant, warm and welcoming – it is an absolute joy to work with this team.
I love spending time with my family. I have two girls, a 4 year old and a 9 month old, so our free time is often spent exploring playgrounds, gardens, and other kid-friendly spaces.
I also love reading, baking/cooking, swimming, and enjoying a good coffee. I would love to do more craft and gardening as well, but I am very much a novice at these!
Tell ME about places to camp and explore within/close to South West Victoria – bonus points for places that are family-friendly to take two small kids and a very energetic dog!
A perfectly cooked steak.
Emma Carey – I recently listened to her book, “The Girl Who Fell From the Sky” and was completely awestruck by her positivity and light.
