Supporting adults living with neurological conditions to rebuild confidence, independence, and participation in meaningful daily activities. I particularly enjoy helping people regain upper limb function, re-engage in valued roles such as work or community life, and find new ways to do the things that matter most following life-changing events like stroke or brain injury.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons), PhD Confirmed Candidate (Neurological Rehabilitation), Advanced skills in cognitive rehabilitation, Management of UL in stroke rehabilitation.
I come from a family of health professionals – my mum, sister, and several cousins all work in healthcare – so I’ve always been surrounded by people who value helping others.
I’ve always enjoyed meeting people, hearing their stories, and finding ways to make a difference in their lives.
Becoming an allied health professional felt like a natural path for me, and I don’t think I ever seriously considered doing anything else.
When I moved to the area in 2022, I started attending classes at Gen Health and immediately felt at home. Everyone was so welcoming and genuinely happy to see you each week – it created such a positive, community-focused atmosphere. I remember thinking at the time, I’d love to work here!
It’s that sense of connection and shared purpose that makes Gen Health such a special place to be part of.
Outside of work, I love coffee and good food, so I’m always keen to try new restaurants and cafés. I enjoy walking, running, and exploring new places with my family – we love getting outdoors together. Life is busy (and fun!) with two young kids, aged 5 and 2, and we’ve just returned from an amazing family holiday in Greece.
My latest restaurant or café recommendation.
